SPECIALLY DESIGNED MICRO SWITCHES

SAFE-T-PRODUCTS HAVE DESIGNED A SERIES OF MICRO SWITCHES

Safe-T-Products has developed a series of micro switches that have silver alloy contacts and comply with Annex K of IEC 60947-5-1. Silver is an excellent conductor, but it is susceptible to tarnishing from hydrogen sulfide, which can cause the micro switch to fail. To prevent this, Safe-T-Products has sealed its micro switches to IP 66/67 to prevent contamination of the electrical contact zone.

The IP rating, or Ingress Protection rating, is a standard used to measure the degree of protection provided by an enclosure against the intrusion of solid objects and water. An IP rating of 66/67 indicates that the micro switch is protected against dust, sand, dirt, and water, including immersion in water up to a specified depth.

Safe-T-Products’ micro switches with silver alloy contacts are designed to comply with Annex K of IEC 60947-5-1 and are sealed to IP 66/67 to prevent tarnishing and contamination of the electrical contact zone, ensuring reliable and consistent micro current and voltage flow for critical safety functions.
