PROTECTIVE SHROUD AND ENCLOSURE DESIGN:
The Emergency Stop button is securely placed within a specially designed protective shroud and enclosure by Safe-T-Products, enhancing durability and safety. The enclosure features a one-piece lid seal pressed into a groove with an external solid protection lip, providing added protection against environmental factors.
DIVERSE ENCLOSURE OPTIONS:
Available in three enclosure types to suit different environments:
- UV Stable, Impact-Modified, Flame Retardant V0 PC/PBT Enclosure: Strong impact resistance with UV stability, ideal for outdoor applications.
- 3mm 5052 Aluminium with 6061 Aluminium Cable Gland Entry (Powder-Coated): Excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
- 2mm 316 Electro Polished Stainless Steel: Superior corrosion resistance with a polished finish, perfect for harsh environments.
ENHANCED SEALING SYSTEM:
- Fitted into a groove in the plastic version and adhered to the aluminium and stainless steel, the lid incorporates an external solid lip extending over the sealing edge, providing enhanced protection against water ingress and ensuring long-term durability in harsh environments.
- 25mm Conduit Entry: Equipped with specially designed conduit plugs featuring unique sealing systems with O-rings for optimal protection.
- Button Seal: The Emergency Stop lid includes a specially designed button protection shroud with labeling, secured via two screws into blind mounting holes. This protects the seal from sunlight, dust, and high-pressure water jets.
ADVANCED SAFETY MECHANISMS:
The Emergency Stop button can be fitted with up to three direct-opening fail-safe contact blocks, maintaining fail-safe operation even if one block is removed. This design enhances the overall safety and integrity of the system.
